How do I login to HRMIS 2.0 in 2026? To access HRMIS 2.0, visit the official portal at hrmis2.eghrmis.gov.my. The official login page offers two ways in: your HRMIS user ID (your IC number) and HRMIS password, or “log masuk dengan myDigital ID”. Once logged in, navigate to “Pengurusan Saraan” > “Penyata Gaji” to download monthly payslips, or “Pengurusan Perubatan” to print an eGL (Medical Guarantee Letter). If you encounter “ID Pengguna Tidak Wujud”, contact your department’s Human Resource (Unit Integriti) administrator immediately.

Correction — updated 23 September 2026

This guide previously said civil servants must log in to HRMIS 2.0 through MyGovUC 2.0 single sign-on, using a MyGovUC password. The official login page has no such option.

The HRMIS 2.0 login page offers two ways in: your HRMIS user ID and password, or “log masuk dengan myDigital ID”. JPA’s circular of 16 May 2024 also says the web version can still be used with your HRMIS ID as usual.

Updated 23 September 2026 against official sources (see the notes marked in the article).

It is the 25th of the month. Gaji Day! 💰 You want to check your payslip to see if the Annual Increment (KGT) has kicked in. You open HRMIS 2.0. What is HRMIS 2.0? (The Iron Rice Bowl App)

HRMIS stands for Human Resource Management Information System. It is the “Super Database” managed by JPA (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam) for all 1.6 million government employees in Malaysia.

Why is it so critical? Unlike private sector employees who use simple payroll software, Malaysian civil servants rely on HRMIS for Everything:

  • Money: Your Payslip (Penyata Gaji) and Annual Assessment (LNPT) for bonuses.
  • Health: Your eGL (Guarantee Letter) for you, your spouse, and parents.
  • Leave: Your Cuti Rehat (CRK) and Cuti Sakit (MC).
  • Profile: Your service record (Buku Perkhidmatan) which determines your pension.

Basically, if your HRMIS 2.0 login is stuck, your entire career is stuck. You cannot even check if your salary has been credited. That is why mastering the HRMIS 2.0 login process is the most important skill for every new civil servant in 2026.

Part 1: HRMIS 2.0 Login Guide (User ID or MyDigital ID)

The official HRMIS 2.0 login page offers two ways in: your HRMIS user ID and password, or “log masuk dengan myDigital ID”. JPA’s circular of 16 May 2024 confirms the web version can still be used with your HRMIS ID as usual (it is the MyHRMIS Mobile app that has accepted MyDigital ID logins only since 27 May 2024).

Step-by-Step Login:

  1. Go to the Official Portal: Visit https://hrmis2.eghrmis.gov.my/. This is the only secure link for HRMIS 2.0 login in 2026. Warning: Do not use the old version, as the legacy HRMIS 2.0 login page often crashes.
  2. Select Login Method: You will see two options: key in your HRMIS user ID and password, or click the myDigital ID button under “atau log masuk dengan”.
  3. Enter Credentials:
    • User ID: Your MyKad (IC) Number (e.g., 850101015566).
    • Password: Your HRMIS password.
  4. Security Phrase:
    • Verify your security image/phrase (e.g., “Proton Saga”).

⚠️ Common Error: “ID Pengguna Tidak Wujud” This is scary. It means the system doesn’t recognize you.

  • Reason: You are a new staff, or you just transferred (Bertukar) to a new ministry.
  • Fix: You cannot fix this online. You must call your Unit Perkhidmatan / Unit Sumber Manusia at your new office to “Activate” your ID in the local database.

Part 2: How to Print eGL (Medical Guarantee Letter)

This is the #1 reason people panic and struggle with their HRMIS 2.0 login at the hospital counter. Government hospitals are free, but only if you have the HRMIS eGL guarantee letter. If you fail to perform an HRMIS 2.0 login to print this document, you might be forced to pay full fees!

The “Emergency Room” Guide:

  1. Login to HRMIS 2.0.
  2. Navigate to Medical:
    • Menu > Pengurusan Saraan, Faedah & Ganjaran.
    • Click “Pengurusan Perubatan”.
  3. Select GL:
    • Click “Surat Pengesahan Diri dan Pengakuan Pegawai (GL)”.
  4. Create New GL:
    • Click “Tambah” (Add).
    • Jenis Rawatan: Select “Pesakit Luar” (Outpatient) or “Pesakit Dalam” (Admitted).
    • Hospital: Type the name (e.g., “Hospital Kuala Lumpur”).
  5. Family Members:
    • If it is for your child/spouse, ensure their name is listed in “Tanggungan”.
    • Missing Name? You need to update “Profil Peribadi > Keluarga” first and get it approved by Admin.
  6. Print/Save PDF:
    • Once submitted, it is usually Auto-Approved.
    • Download the PDF and show it to the counter.

Walaoeh Tip: The system often goes down at night. Always print 2-3 “Open GLs” (without specific dates if possible, or update monthly) and keep a physical copy in your car glove compartment.

Part 3: How to Check Payslip (Semakan Penyata Gaji)

Money time! Before you apply for a Personal Loan, banks will ask for your latest semakan penyata gaji 2026. This digital slip is the official proof of income for all government servants.

  1. Perform HRMIS 2.0 Login: Access the portal and complete your HRMIS 2.0 login using your IC number.
  2. Go to Menu: Once inside, navigate to “Pengurusan Saraan”.
  3. Select Month/Year:
    • Choose “Januari 2026”.
  4. Download PDF:
    • The PDF serves as an official document.

Alternative Way: e-Penyata Gaji (ANM) If HRMIS is down, you can also check your payslip at the Jabatan Akauntan Negara (ANM) portal: epenyatagaji.anm.gov.my.

  • Note: ANM is usually faster than HRMIS for payslips!

Part 4: How to Apply Cuti (Leave Application)

Planning for the Long Weekend? You must perform the permohonan cuti rehat process via the system at least 3 days in advance to ensure your boss approves it on time.

  1. Login to HRMIS 2.0.
  2. Go to Menu:
    • Pengurusan Cuti.
    • Click “Permohonan Cuti”.
  3. Choose Leave Type:
    • Cuti Rehat (CRK): Annual leave.
    • Cuti Sakit (MC): Medical leave.
    • Cuti Tanpa Rekod (CTR): For exams, death of family, etc.
  4. Select Dates & Reason:
    • “Balik Kampung” is a valid reason. 😂
  5. Submit:
    • It goes to your Pelulus (Head of Dept).
    • Pro Tip: Take a screenshot and WhatsApp your boss: “Datuk, saya dah submit cuti dalam HRMIS, mohon lulus.”

Checking Leave Balance:

Go to “Kelayakan Cuti” to see how many days you have left. Remember, you can perform GCR (Gantian Cuti Rehat)to convert unused leave into cash when you retire!

Part 5: “Lupa Kata Laluan” (Forgot Password)

This is the most frustrating part. If you encounter HRMIS lupa kata laluan, the reset process requires a valid registered email.

Method A: Online Reset (If Email is Correct)

  1. Click “Lupa Kata Laluan”.
  2. Enter IC Number.
  3. Select “Emel Rasmi” or “Emel Peribadi” (whichever is registered).
  4. Check Inbox/Spam for the reset link.

Method B: The “Manual Reset” (If Email is Wrong) “Alamak, the system has my old Yahoo email from 2010!”

  • You cannot fix this online.
  • Step 1: Find out who is the Pentadbir HRMIS (Admin) in your department. Usually in the Admin/Finance unit.
  • Step 2: Walk to their desk or call them.
  • Step 3: Ask them to: “Reset password saya dan update email baru.”
  • They can do it in 2 minutes.

Part 6: Troubleshooting Error Codes (The Cheat Sheet)

HRMIS loves to throw weird errors. Here is what they mean:

Error MessageMeaningSolution
“Pengguna Tidak Aktif”Your account is dormant.Contact HR Unit to reactivate. Usually happens after long unpaid leave or transfer.
“ID Pengguna dan Kata Laluan Tidak Sah”Wrong password.Check Caps Lock. Try “Lupa Kata Laluan” on the login page.
“Ralat Sistem / System Error”Server side issue.Clear Cache or try again after 10 PM.
“Sila Kemaskini Profil”Data incomplete.Go to “Profil Peribadi” and fill in missing fields (Address, Phone).
“Pop-up Blocked”Browser issue.Enable Pop-ups for the HRMIS site in Chrome settings (needed for Payslip/GL PDF).

Part 7: Mobile App vs Web Browser

Should you use the app? JPA launched several apps: MyHRMIS Cuti, MyHRMIS Profil, MyHRMIS eGL.

The Verdict:

  • Use the APP for: Applying Cuti (Fast), Checking Status.
  • Use the WEB for: Printing Payslip, Updating Profile, SKT/LNPT.
  • Why? The app often fails to generate PDF downloads correctly on iPhone/Android. For printing important documents, always use a PC/Laptop.

Summary: Love It or Hate It, You Need It

HRMIS 2.0 login is the gateway to your benefits as a civil servant. Yes, the system is slow. Yes, the password policy is annoying. But it secures your Medical, Salary, and Pension.

Walaoeh Checklist:

  1. Update Email: Ensure your current personal email (Gmail) is in the system for easier password resets.
  2. Backups: Save all Payslips and GLs in Google Drive.
  3. Be Nice to Admin: Your Department Admin is the only one who can save you when you get locked out!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. How to login to HRMIS 2.0 for the first time?

For new civil servants, your HRMIS 2.0 login ID is your MyKad number. The default password is usually set by your Department Admin (often your IC number or “User123”). You will be prompted to change it immediately upon first login. If you cannot login, verify with your Unit Sumber Manusia that your data has been keyed in.

  2. What is the difference between HRMIS 2.0 and MyGovUC 2.0?

HRMIS 2.0 is the HR system for records, leave, and salary. MyGovUC is the government’s centrally managed communication and collaboration service (email, online meetings and chat), run by the National Digital Department (JDN). It is not a login option on the HRMIS 2.0 login page, which offers your HRMIS user ID and password or myDigital ID.

  3. Can I print eGL at the hospital?

Yes, but only if you can access the website on your phone. Many hospitals have poor signal. It is highly recommended to print a physical copy or save the PDF on your phone before going to the hospital to avoid delays at the registration counter.

  4. How to check HRMIS payslip history?

HRMIS typically stores payslips for the current year and several past years. Go to “Pengurusan Saraan” > “Penyata Gaji” and select the year you want. If you need payslips from 10 years ago (e.g., for pension calculation disputes), you may need to request them manually from your finance department or ANM.

  5. HRMIS 2.0 login down?

HRMIS is frequently overloaded during “Salary Week” (20th-25th) and early mornings. If you encounter slow loading or white screens, try accessing the portal during off-peak hours (e.g., after 11 PM or before 7 AM). Clearing your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete) can also resolve loading glitches.
